Peter Beeksma, Founder
1988 - Peter was born the son Jim Beeksma, who was basically a founding father of construction landscaping as we know it today. Growing up, his father's love for landscaping rubbed off on him, and he was often tested on the Latin names of trees and surrounded by equipment.
2004 - Peter got his first job working for The Landmark Group in Thornbury, Ontario where he learned and grew as a person and landscaper, becoming a certified horticulture technician and foreman. He completed and aided significantly in many award winning projects.

2019 - Over the years, Peter had dreamed of building his own home, and in 2019, he pursued and successfully completed that dream. From design and permits, through to construction and organization, he completed and moved into that home by March 2020 on time time and on budget with his family.
2020 - Peter started working for Hutten & Co. in Owen Sound, Ontario doing what he does best until another dream of his began to take form.
2024 - The Legacy begins
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Peter has honed his skills in completing massive landscape construction projects that have gone on to win the highest awards with Landscape Ontario. This extensive experience has not only refined his techniques but has also equipped him with a unique insight into the nuances of Southern Ontario's diverse landscapes, whether it be a modern subdivision, an island property, or the rocks of Dyer's bay. Over the years, Peter has developed highly efficient processes that not only streamline the construction timeline but also contribute to cost-effectiveness. He understands the importance of delivering exceptional quality without compromising on budget constraints.
